Joining Revels at the Harvard Museums of Science and Culture's annual Summer Solstice event with a procession to the main stage.

6PM at 11 Divinity Avenue, Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Cambridge

Come sing along with Revels and explore the Harvard Museums of Science and Culture as we welcome in the Longest Day. This event is FREE TO ALL!

The event will also include a variety of local performers, flower crown crafts, food trucks, and free admission to all four of the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture. Step outdoors to enjoy live music and performers, play lawn games, and make a flower crown. Ice cream, beverages, and food will be available for purchase from food trucks. Don’t miss out on this popular event for all ages!

Free event parking will be available at the 52 Oxford Street Garage starting at 4:30 pm. Please note that Divinity Avenue will be closed to traffic during the event.

Arlington Arts Public Mural Celebration

Good Trouble will play 2-3:00 PM at the Fox Library, 175 Mass Ave at Cleveland Street, Arlington

A celebration for ArtsArlington's current project: a temporary mural composed of 2,000 fish individually handpainted by people of all ages and abilities in free workshops. The fish represent the herring, who migrate every spring from the ocean up the Mystic River to spawn. Thanks to environmental action, their population has recovered from a threatened 200k (2012) to 815k (2025); our goal is to inspire people to take action by celebrating this story. The painted herring also represent community -- the community that rallied to save the river herring and the diverse community that came together to paint the fish, each one a unique work of art. We are collaborating with the Mystic River Watershed and many other community organizations, from public housing to historic sites to artist studios to create this large scale installation which will be on the Fox Library and local storefronts.

ArtsArlington is a mostly volunteer commission that works to bring inclusive arts programming in all media to the Town of Arlington, with a focus on programming in public spaces and a small grants program supporting grass roots projects.

MinneHONK, a festival of activist street bands from Minneapolis and across the country, with free and open-to-the-public performances on Friday, May 1st at Arbeiter Brewing; Saturday, May 2nd at George Floyd Square; and Sunday, May 3rd at the Powderhorn Park Mayday parade and festival, a longstanding and beloved grassroots community celebration.

In the spirit of solidarity with our Minnesota colleagues, Good Trouble Brass Band is planning a trip to Minneapolis! Good Trouble is an activist street band. We play for causes and organizations we support, and most of our appearances are unpaid. It's expensive to make a trip across the country with 20+ musicians and their instruments,
more than many of our members can afford.

We are seeking support to make this historic trip. To join with our street band colleagues from around the country at a time of heightened tension. To learn from the extraordinary networks that have grown up in the Twin Cities, neighbor-to-neighbor, door-to-door, street-to-street. To make a big joyful noise. And to help elevate inspiring voices of resistance in a time of unbearable injustice.

Arlington Walk for Affordable Housing

The Walk for Affordable Housing, sponsored by Housing Corporation of Arlington. The walk highlights its mission to develop affordable housing, support families who are struggling financially, build a more inclusive and equitable community in Arlington, and help tenants grow their voice and influence on housing issues. Its three main programs include affordable housing development, social services, and civic engagement. They strive to build a base of people who care for each other, push for more affordable housing, and ensure that those most impacted (low-income tenants) are partners and leaders in the effort, equal to everyone else.
